Yolanda Eyama is a London based artist vocalist who has spent many years dedicating body and soul to the black music of he cultures of Africa. She merges the songs of her origins with Pop, Funk, Jazz and the most current Soul in her own way.
Yolanda Eyama sings in African languages, sometimes Spanish, English and French. She raps, sings, recites and modulates her voice always showing an amazing creative capacity, while offering in her movements the cadences and rhythms of deepest Africa.
She began singing gospel and black music in church and mixed that with her own cultural tradition. In Spain Yolanda has been part of several groups of different styles such as Flamenco, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Rock, Afro beat, Makossa and more.
“Welcome To Malabo” is her first solo album recorded in Madrid with the band which she has worked with for more than 10 years. 4 songs of that album are part of the soundtrack of the “PALMERAS EN LA Nieve” a Spanish and American film production that has garnered great prizes. She has also worked as an actress in the theatre company L´OM-IMPREBÍS Valencia-Spain under the direction of Hassane Kouyate and Santiago Sanchez.

The Afro World Groove is a band created to expose a fusion of cultures on live stage. Its members are professional musicians with lots of experiences performing in clubs and festivals worldwide, which have garnered a solid reputation as excellent musicians with both individual and collaborations projects.
The Afro Word Groove comes to bring the sound of the big bands of World Music with a solid rhythmic base of African cultural influence. In his style the predominance of the magic and elegance of the mixture of the music, as it’s a band formed by musicians with great groove and a huge career behind them that’s into a single concept linked to musical genres from various cultures.
